Retiring from Detective work in 2011, Clancy Adams found himself with nothing to occupy him, and a head full of stories, based on true incidents.
Clancy Adams (alias Terry-C. Townsend) has spent
a lifetime observing human nature, first as a Police
Officer, then as a private detective, and now as a
novelist. Since 2011, he’s been crafting stories that
cover most genres of life, from 3 year olds to adult material. He commenced using his real title, only to find another author already publishing as that. That introduced Clancy Adams.
His latest novel, ‘The Formula Killings,’ draws directly from his years
in law enforcement, weaving together a serial killer
investigation, a torrid love affair, and the journey
of a family fleeing to safety. His ‘Children’ Books use his happy memory of years attached to a farm, at Ashwater, North Devon.
A minor eye defect caused Clancy to miss his chosen career as a pilot. At the time the disappointment brought his life to a standstill. Now he has no regrets. He would not trade his memories for anything.
Clancy likes to see himself as a glass-half-full character, grateful each morning to see the start of another opportunity to write.
